Silver dapple grullo will also work. Just remember you're working with an ADDITIONAL gene. Keeping it as easy and straightforward as possible is the best and most efficient method of getting to that end.

The problem I can see with him is that he carries tiger eye (so any unknown or questionably may be cream and not pearl), this may make determining his offspring as a definite pearl versus unwanted cream, a bit more difficult.

Plus, although it doesn't look like it, there is cream in his pedigree. There is a slim chance that he might be hiding cream. Slim. There doesn't appear to be any double cream offspring or single cream where the dame is NOT a cream carrier.

That's my two-cents on using him. :D
Of course, with the right culling practices and stubbornness, we can pretty much make anything here on HWO!

Like I said... it would.
Consider the genes at work.
In order to get that brilliant golden dapples look in pearl phase only, the genes at are absolutely needed would be:
black E/E or E/e
silver Z/n or Z/Z
pearl pr/pr

Any other genes added to the equation adds another layer to the look, or in this case, another obstacle to either include, breed out, or deal with.

You want to add, or at least include:
Dun D/d or D/D

But you also have tiger eye:
Tg/Tg

So you'll need to breed in the pearl gene (double pearl, since it's recessive), and ALSO make sure the silver gene passes on (it's dominant and it doesn't look like he carries two copies), plus you don't know for certain whether he's a double black or a single black.
Which means the mare will need to make up for what he may shortfall. She'll need to be a non-agouti chestnut or be a black. It would be best if she also carries the silver gene, but it's not necessary. And you'll need at least two generations before you can throw double pearls (pearl is recessive, you'll need to pass it on twice).

So using him will work, Dun will just add another layer to the golden coloration, actually it will lighten it, possibly considerably, verging on a pseudo-white. But that's only IF it gets passed on.

It might be easier if you breed him to a double pearl, you'll get pearl carriers. Use a silver son to breed back to the dame, thus you have a 50% chance of dropping a double pearl and another 50% chance of the silver gene. So let's call it a 25% chance of both genes together at the same time. That's not correct percentage math, by the way... but I think you get my point.

If I decide to choose you as a partner, I will either private message you (if both of us have premium), ping you on this forum, and/or ask you to come into chat.
Are you still looking for partners for the North African Barbs? I am working toward the same goal with them, but I haven't been able to dedicate a lot of time to them yet. It would be great to partner up with someone with the same vision!

Disclaimer: I am a new player focusing on leveling up as much as possible, so money can be short yet, but I am making great progress overall and hope to be done with that soon.

I would still be interested. So, right now, just buying and/or adopting some mares and a few stallions is what we need to start with. From there, we can breed them to have better stats.

I will browse today and see what I can find for sale. I have no reds in my current stock but they're nothing to write home about. Only golds thus far are in intelligence. Not sure if you browsed my farm, but here's what I have.
