Your previous foal did not have the dun gene, he just turned out to be a bay. The mare that I have linked above IS a strawberry or a red dun so the foal might turn out to he like the mother with a blanket or not or like his father with or without the blanket.

PS: there is no chance of the foal becoming bay since both parents are a/a
Alright, thank you. That part did bother me, but I don't have a dun, so I couldn't do anything about it. Thank you for the offer, would it be too much trouble? :)
