There's more to breeding an Akhal-Teke than just the correct breeds. You need at least a 4* Akhal-Teke Evaluation or a 5* Akhal-Teke Evaluation of both of the parents to breed an Akhal-Teke and then it's just breed and hope that you get one. It's also partly luck to breed one.

Well, actually you can create a new breed even when parents have no stars at evaluation, they just need to balance each other out. In this case, even both parents are 5* Tekes, your foal is waaaaaaaay too tall. That is very likely due to the fact that the Arabian you use comes from very different height parentage. He himself has ended up in the middle - normal size, but passing onto his foals either the gene for being very tall, or very small. You might have better luck using a sire that has similarly sized parents, or try the same pairing again and cross your fingers that the foal will turn out correct size (as the dam is rather tall herself, she might balance out in the case when sire passes on the small size gene).Caramelapple3 wrote:.
