Does he have 2 cream alleles or 1 cream+1 pearl? He seems a little bit too "yellow" for cremello

Two creams. Pearl can't hide when paired with a cream, therefore his dame passed one down and his sire, as a foal, offers a silver-black foal coat, instead of a red-black foal coat, indicating a hidden cream and not a pearl. A pearl is a true hidden recessive, whereas a single cream just can't express beyond the black coat.
