ISO: Winning Endurance Stud

Post by Virgo »

There are always so many competitions in the endurance that often times do not run on time, so I'd like to contribute and compete! :D Must have exceptional body type, breeding stats, and at least one green. It would be really nice to have an appealing color and thick mane, but not required by any means. I would also prefer a stud who is already a proven producer, but pretty open at this point. If your stallion wins in multiple events, even better. Number of evaluation stars do not matter, I am just breeding for it to be a competition horse.

Let me know! :)

For the most part when it comes to endurance that scene is being dominated by the Arabians. There are a few good thoroughbreds who do fairly well too, but Arabians are generally the most successful breed.
I'm still a bit new to the game so I'm not quite sure about which body types work for which competitions though I have noticed my taller Arabians preform better than my shorter ones. (Not sure if coincidence yet)

If you are looking for a great stud with nice stats, nice color, and a nice thick mane then I would suggest http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/78717 (hopefully that link works, never linked a horse on the forums yet) He is expensive though at $8000. His son Keegan is another nice choice for a stud, but last I checked Confessions cancelled the stud offerings for him. Could always talk to Confessions about either stud. Otherwise my Arabians tend to have short hair and short tails, but they are always another decent option. I would also just check the leader board for endurance if you are interested in other breeds that are fairly successful in those competitions as well. :)

Hi! Super excited to see someone link to my horse! Haha
To explain why Keegan is no longer available, in short, is because a fair few people seemed to be breeding to him and he just wasn't competing or producing foals as well as I'd hoped he would. I'd rather people go straight to Echo, as I think he is a better stud. I have three other Arabian colts that I'm training at the moment who I'm going to compete and see if they do any good. If they're decent they'll go up for stud :)
Echo is very expensive right now as he's mostly for my use, if people are interested in using him I can lower it as he's the best stud I've had so far competition wise. He's now on my second account to stop him aging out because I want to keep using him ;)
If I ever have anything that can be of use to you feel free to ask me to put it up! If I have something I think will be helpful I usually chuck it up for stud. No one seemed that interested in Echo even though (I think!) he's one of the best Endurance stallions at the moment.

He's now up for $3,000
Is that more reasonable for players?

Thank you everyone for your responses! I have bred my top mare to Echo and I'm excited to see how the foal turns out. My mare is pretty big-bodied, so I'm not sure how well the body type will work out with the endurance events, but I'm just looking for a class filler that could potentially win a few in the lower levels. Looking forward to competing with you! :P

I have a Akhal-Teke colt that seems to be pretty talented in endurance so far! He's not up for stud yet but he will be as soon as he's old enough to breed, right now I'm using all the days I can get to advance his age. He should mature to be tall, no greens no reds, interesting red color, I judged by his breeding report and he seems to be best suited to endurance so that's the direction I'm training him in. He's currently winning level 4 endurance local shows and he's just starting out! I am going to start showing him as soon as he can in endurance and I'm pretty sure he'll be a proven winner. (His sire is a successful show horse in multiple disciplines and his dam is successful in racing, and now I'm branching her out into other disciplines as well.) I have lots of foals off of his dam and all of them have placed in various disciplines at various levels. If you're interest PM me and I will get back to you when he's ready to breed! http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/127281
