Why is it like this...?

Alright, I'm a girl so it doesn't matter to me, but I really think that Tom and Larrisar should make it that they ask your gender (optional) and whatever you choose, you will be that gender person. They need to make a boy character just because I know some boys play this game and are stuck as the girl charachter. Which for them, probably gets really annoying.

This is already planned and is scheduled to be implemented at some point in the future!

But I think they're going to allow us to choose what our avatar is and it won't be connected to what we actually are.

Okay, cool Although I think that custom avatars would take too much away from the point of the game. I do think that it would be pretty cool, though.

The one we have is just a placeholder... so says our admins... so at some point in the future, we will get an update on it. What comes out of it... we'll have to see

Personally, I'd like to have a couple different outfits available, have the opportunity to change sexes, height, of course... hair color and maybe a couple different hairstyles (somewhere between 20 and 30 different combinations in total, without factoring in height). So, perhaps that's a lot, but I don't personally think that's too much and taking too much away from the game itself. I think the biggest part of it would be height. Allowing us to shrink or heighten our avatar would be the best part of it (other than switching between male and female)... I could be more than satisfied with just that.

I barely see her anymore.
What drives me nuts sometimes is her height. Seeing her next to a horse makes the horse look differently sized than what I think it should at times.
For instance, a 16hh horse is a BIG horse, maybe not huge, but it's certainly a big horse. But seeing her standing there next to it, it looks much more like a 15hh horse, tall, but not overly so.

Of course... for some reason... her big hands drive me nuts too... It may just be how they're positioned, but they look too big for her.

Okay... now I say this, but I'm following it up with the fact that I could NOT draw a better person. So although I may be critiquing somebody else's artwork (our admins), I want to point out the fact that MY artwork would likely look like a stick-figure! A horse... I can get by, but drawing people... my stick figures are definitely better then what I would draw (and better-looking too! Gorgeous-Even! Ha!)

I noticed that about her fingers too.

I find it a wonder sometimes how people can draw people. Even in art class, when I was learning how to draw them... Every time I get partially done, with it sketched out, it's like... Well... like a scary person is looking with alien eyes out of the paper like "and this... this YOU did..."
I really don't understand how I can get away with drawing almost any other animal (adequately), but people escape me.
So at least for me, I'll stick to stick-figures, right down to those stick fingers! And I'm okay with that! Well... kind of!

Very true!
I did learn something along the way that might help out you too... in drawing, imperfection is what one should aim for. Difficult to overcome, the wanting to make it perfect, but if you purposefully put in some flaw, it comes out looking SO much better.

It didn't work for me and people, but it does for the critters. They look a lot better.
