Stymied on Color
This Turkmene mare was acquired from the AC, and I can't figure her out. Base coat chestnut, I'm assuming. No striping, so not a dun? Varnish? Bronzing? She's pretty, though, and I hope she throws this color on some of her progeny.

This is an AC Glitch horse...she will most likely Turn Palomino or Chestnut because of her mane and tail around 10 years of age...sadly her unique coloring will not be passed onto her offspring.Merry Vollmer wrote:This Turkmene mare was acquired from the AC, and I can't figure her out. *sigh* Yes, at ten and a half years old, she turned fire engine red. I rather liked the exotic golden sheen, but this is pretty, too. Thanks for the warning!
