Albanian colt

Post by Grand Hope River »

So, they're a pretty low numbered breed with about 38 currently..

I currently have a colt.

What should I price this guy at?
since I don't know what I should do with him xD

I somewhat forgot why I bred Echo to that stallion, I likely had a plan but who knows what it was. lol

Hi Grand Hope River,
I am currently training your horse: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1285263S
She is almost finished and I'm really going to be busy and I can't finish her.
My grandmother is really sick and I need to tend to her so please feel free to offer to 15K instead of the regular price because of this. :( :( :( :(
Thanks,
Prancer

I would suggest just applying an offers only option for a number of days and see what offers you receive. For rares, sometimes it's extremely difficult to determine a price not because they're not worth much, but because interest and use in these breeds come and go like a full moon. Sometimes it's on and sometimes it's off.

Otherwise, you can attempt to figure out what he should be worth, take a look at the creating ads help guide and that should offer a little understanding if not in direct price value, but in what YOUR horse may be worth to the community.

And as a last note, it could be you bred him for a quest. Albanian doesn't go anywhere, but it is a quest.

@training services

put her up for offers and I'll take her.
life can get crazy, i was supposed to be off this weekend but was put on for work didn't get the chance to train your horse much I don't work on week days and I have no school so I should be finished by or before Friday. I can hold her for you after shes finished training if you cannot take her.

I agree with BlackOak. I think that if you are wanting to sell him, I would just on him up for offers only and put the ad something like this:
Rare breed colt (If you think he is beautiful go ahead and put that LOL)
This colt is a rare breed with only about 38 (If that's the number you said)
And I am willing to sell, but don't know a price. Will sell for a fair price.

Something like that. I'm not super at explaining sale ads. Haha.
Anyway, I hope that helped. Also, again I agree with BlackOak that some people might place offers cheap because the breed may be way out of interest, but also, I know a couple people that are looking for rare breeds and will pay a lot!
I also know that the person called Walnut_The_Hamster has a contest in the so contests forum called 500 and under, it's a rare breed contest that I believe is still going and I think your colt may excel at!
Again, I hope this helped.
