What's up with Prices?

I'm seeing a lot of inflated prices (at least to me). I was wondering what the story is behind this. I've seen 10 Mil on a regular Arabian and 100 Mil on a regular thoroughbred. Is there something I'm missing about these horses?

Some players have decided to use the market feature to help them search through their own horses.
The high prices are there to dissuade people from purchasing said horses because these players aren't looking to sell them.

Ohhhhhh, well, that makes sense. Cause I was going, "Who the heck is going to spend that much on a regular thoroughbred."
