So i have have breed one stallion of the Calviana Breed. I have breed him to other mares and have a 50/50 mix. My stallian wont live long enough to breed him to the 50/50. How mant generations would it take to get to a pure breed?

About four, if I remember correctly, but that's if you breed back to a pureblood every time. If you breed exact 50/50 every time (and don't add in a 50/50 with a different breed), you'll only get 50/50 children. If you breed 50/50 together where the second breed is different for both of them, it may take seven to ten generations until it gets back to pureblood.
To keep your stallion around longer, choose an acceptable Grade mare that still fits your requirements and produce a half-breed. It will have only the calviana as it's breed and will still work as a 'calviana pure' for recipes.

Plus, it may (I haven't tried it however), shorten the generations to get back to pureblood.
