Can i have some help? I breed a mare with 62 speed to a stallion with 64 speed and the foal had a speed of 60. Can someone explain it to me why? I am disapointed because i payed $500,000 for the stud fee.PeacefulOreo wrote:Awesome!RoyalCrownAcres wrote:

I think it’s just chance of the roll. I mean, just because you breed a very accomplished mare to American Pharoah (in real life) doesn’t mean the foal will be the next Grand Slam winner. Maybe the result is some sort of average with the higher numbers? It could also be because the number is already so high, it may not always result in a higher, or in between the numbers, foal. Hope this makes sense and at least helps some.walnut the hamster wrote:Can i have some help? I breed a mare with 62 speed to a stallion with 64 speed and the foal had a speed of 60. It could be because they have a speed confo for different reasons, when you combined them, they equaled each other out, making a less amazing foal.walnut the hamster wrote:Can i have some help? These two stallions, http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1956415 and http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1956274, will both be up for stud eventually for the United Racing Thoroughbred Breeders Club members only, soon after the Belmont Stakes Race runs. We'll all talk about pricing of the studs shortly.
