It is still a little young, but I would love to have at least a brief idea of what her color might be. http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1860069

I have one other horse that I am not quite sure about either. I think I have a little idea, but still, to be on the safe since he is a contest prize. http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1889602

These are both prizes, so that is why I need to know their color. Thank you! :D
id # 1860069 is a buckskin dun with tiger eye. She may also have pangare, but I don't really see either parent have it. So I would say that she doesn't.

id # 1889602 is a buckskin, with quite a strong metallic shine.

Your pings aren't being handled correctly. You need to ping somebody (the code needs to know who to ping), and you need to put something in the quote.
Use the code like this:

Code: Select all
put something here
Don't forget the equals sign (=) after the first quote word and the quotation marks ( " " ) around the player's name.

As for your horse.
Appears to be a classic champagne, likely hiding pangare and is carrying a flaxen gene. Also with snowflakes. So Classic Champagne with snowflakes.

EE AA= Black with bay over it?

I think we are moving at the perfect pace for me :)

You're correct with one exception (the catch I put in)
ee AtAt
If you remember (and I'm sure now you will), chestnut overrules agouti, so this one is chestnut with brown under it, or this horse would just be a chestnut horse.

Now is the final lesson on the base colors for horses (we'll move on to simple modifiers next).

Agouti (just like chestnut and black), rule over each other.
Wild Bay rules over all other agouti (so bay and brown will be hidden).
Bay rules over brown.
Brown is recessive (or weak) to both bay and wild bay.

So here's your questions:
What are these agouti colors?

AAt
A+At
A+A

AtA

Now, take a look at these and name the dominate color only (the color the horse will appear as):
As an example:
Ee A+At ...... This horse is Wild Bay.

ee Ata
Ee A+a

EE A+A
ee Ata
