Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Just produced several more fillies, one has a tiger eye, not sure if that is going to be included in the standards, but I'm going to encourage it in my lines.

I would encourage it. I would love to purchase some new blood actually. You should post when you have some.

Right now I'm primarily breeding for conformation, I want a horse that is elegant, but still looks powerful. In other words, less stocky than the draft breeds and heavier than the riding horses.

It's nice this is an extinct breed so we have a little leeway in regards to standards. What if we added feathers?

I don't know how I feel about feathers in my line. There really isn't any in the TB or CB lines. I'm thinking my lines will be similar to the modern Standardbred.

I like the body of Standardbreds, but I want my horses to have shorter faces, they're a bit long for my taste

And I've accidently produced a Yorkie while trying for a Norfolk, which I need for my breeding project for Canadians. :p Out of my ClevelandBay mare she's given me a Yorkie and a Mixed TB X CB by the same stud.

If my mare foals a Yorkie, and if you are interested/have one, would you consider trading a Yorkie for a Norfolk?
