Weird Socks!

Post by Mauja »

So I bred an Ob colt, here: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/113851

Mother is here: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/113839
Father is here: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/113256

So I can probably assume the colt matches the father's colors, but the socks are... Gray. Which is odd. Does that mean that he'll grey out, or does he have some weirdo genetics?

Any idea what color he could be?

It's a buckskin. Foals will eventually get darker legs with a brighter coat color, which is enriching. As we all know foals have to grow into their coat.

That is not buckskin. It is Mealy Bay Dun, typical for Przewalski horses.
