Hey folks - just wanted to let you all know I made an amendment to the Registry!

Part-Bred horses ARE allowed to be submitted towards consideration of a Breeder Registration, as long as they are considered over 80% blooded towards the breed being applied for. Outcrossing to different breeds is a valid and proven way of bringing in higher stats or other desired traits into a breed, especially in HWO.【RHBR】Breeders will not be penalized for using outcrossing in order to circumvent the game's limitations.

I have used outcrossing in the past to raise the stats of some of my purebred horses, and currently, my very-correct Gypsy Vanners came about through breeding to part-bred animals! One of my best Gypsy stallions is a part-bred, as are a couple of my broodmares still. Since HWO has such a small population of certain breeds, plus the true mutations that occurred (or didn't occur!) in real breeds don't necessarily pop up in HWO's population of those breeds, I will not penalize potential【RHBR】Breeders for utilizing outcrossing.

【Current Breeding Standards】

Baroque:

• 14.2hh to 16hh.
• Horse type, with medium to medium heavy body.
• Legs of medium bone / thickness.
• Hair can be any length, although Stallions cannot have short ("rat") tails. No feathers.
• Shoulder is long and sloped.
• Head is around the length of the shoulder.
• Head has a straight or slightly convex profile with medium jowls.
• Neck is as long as the shoulder, measuring from the withers.
• Back is around the length of the shoulder, measuring from the withers.
• Ribs are deep, with a medium to deep flank.
• Built level or slightly sloped with a long, round hip and tail set below the spine.
• Coat can be any base color. High expression of the LP gene is encouraged, but should not affect the eyes - which should be dark. Mares can be solid in color, but Stallions MUST at minimum display blanket. Should not carry Tobiano.
