50 shades of Champagne

Post by tussock »

I have a few horses that I'm unsure about their color, only that they mostly are champagne + something else...

Hi tussock!
Oh my, what a load of beauties.

Here's my guesses:
Better Believe: Classic Champagne Roan
Big Wave: Mealy Gold Champagne
Sharks Cove: Grey (Gold Cream)
Sea of Flames: Gold Cream
Spirited Away: Amber Cream

Wow! Those are some good looking champagnes! Not like mine, they always look dirty because they have sooty on top, heh ;)

Would you mind if I borrowed Big Wave's picture for my secret computer collection of foal coats?

Wouldn't it be buckskins and palominos out of the cream ones if just the sire has the cream gene and not the mother?

Larissa would be the one to ask, as the image belongs to her, not tussock.

Too young to tell for certain. Probably amber cream.
