So I had most of it. Slowly figuring this all out. What makes the shine on the rump when the horse isn't skilled?

So I had most of it. Slowly figuring this all out. What makes the shine on the rump when the horse isn't skilled?

A shine on the horse without training is nominally due from metallic. However... one must keep in mind that certain colors can cause a pseudo-shine. The trick between them is looking at the long face of the horse. If there is a 'brilliance' along the face, going down toward the nose, then it's likely due to the metallic gene and not just a pseudo-shine.
In my opinion, this horse does carry metallic.
