Bay dun?

Post by Dewati »

He is Wild Bay right? With really clear mealy markings. But is he dun? There is not a single horse in his pedigree that is not dun but I just can't see any markings on him.

I'm actually pretty sure that he is mealy liver chestnut dun
I'm not great on genetics but that is what he looks like to me

He doesn't look like dun at all to me. Both parents obviously have only one copy of the dun gene each and he did not inherit it from any of them. So he would be mealy wild bay.

I was hoping he wasn't dun but just found it unlikey considering his pedigree. Thank you!
