Pinging Clarification

So I have a question, that maybe only our admins can answer.
Unless it's already been answered and I missed it.

When our players that are too young to post to forums (or those without access to the forums for other reasons)... Do they still receive notifications of us pinging and quoting them?

I realize that they can't post themselves, I'm just wondering if they receive it.

Just speaking from personal experience, while I did not have access to post in the forums due to a mistaken age I still received notifications from people pinging me.

The thought came to me when looking at other unanswered pings, especially when our players had been on 'recently' and had not appeared to make any movement on their games.

It's important information to have and common sense tells me that they still would... but without conformation... how would we really know?
