Re: Here I am again!
You got most of it right. It's silver amber champagne dun. So subtract the cream and add silver and dun in there.

Re: Here I am again!
Ahhh, wow! The silver is obvious now.
Where do you get dun from, though? I don't see the back stripe or the leg markings - am I just missing something?

The dorsal stripe is there, it's just a bit hard to see on the specific coloring of your horse.sariaru wrote:Ahhh, wow! The silver is obvious now.Where do you get dun from, though? I don't see the back stripe or the leg markings - am I just missing something?
I scaled the picture a bit and upped the contrast (lower version):

Re: Here I am again!
Fair enough - that's a very subtle dun! I didn't realize her sire carried it - his is just as subtle; I had to really look for it!

Re: Here I am again!
Some are very subtle, yes. I've had it turn up out of nowhere a few times.

Re: Here I am again!
For me the neck stripe and wither stripe were the dead giveaways on the dun.

Only horses with dun will have those markings.

Oh, I see - I thought that was just shadowing! Great, now I've got another marker to look for, that's very helpful!
