Black Marking

Post by Divine Goddess »

One time, i bred my mare to someone's stallion that looked pretty nice ( if i say so myself ). Death-Defying Dream was born totally normal. But when he aged i began seeing that his front/back became more dark. He began showing it around the age of 5. I bred him more and some of his offspring showed it too, most around age 5. He showed it pretty extreme. You can see in his Gallery how it appeared. I call it the ‘Blackmark gene’ because i have no idea what it is and what it's called and some show it and others not. I basically breed horses to get this marking ( alot of incest though, since it all started with Dream and well.... )

This is him.

Descendant from Death-Defying Dream, he began showing the ‘Blackmark’ at the age of 1 ( pretty young from the others i have bred )

This is a combination of both sooty and leopard complex. Congratulations! This is a beautiful outcome.
I'm certainly sending this over into the favorites topic. :D

Also, this won't be as expressive without leopard complex. There will be a lot more uniformity in the sooty.

Thanks! I also really love the outcome. So with leopard complex, the black marking will be more visible? I'll just keep on breeding them and also under the name of Blackmark because it sounds fun :P

This is why likely all of us enjoy this game, there are so many options. :D

You will likely need to inbreed a little to make sure that mark stays that way sometimes, just keep that in mind and you should do just fine.
