I'm just double checking but if I age a horse to 3 years old and a competition age limit is 2 - 3 years old, would my horse still be able to enter?

Yes, the horse is able to compete in age limit competitions 2 to 3 years old, the horse can be 2 years old to 3 years 11.5 months.
