I did some digging on my second account and I have a couple Medium Light thoroughbred Stallions you could use for breeding if you can find a trake mare-Calmier wrote: I’m still having trouble finding good thoroughbreds or trakes. I’m not sure why, but it’s probably because all of the market horses seem to have relatively similar body shapes. I can’t find one that meets the requirements for a holstien.

Both are 3* Holstein- if you could find a 3-4* Trake mare, you'd be golden.
I've noticed in breed creation, it's easier to breed create from 3-4*'s, versus 5*. Idk why, but I've just always had better luck with them.
I'd say find any trake mare you can get your hands on, and breed her to a medium-light TB stallion, then breed that foal to a medium-light thoroughbred, and you should have a 3-4*.

Right after I posted my post above, I found a TB mare in the sales that's 4* Holstein-Zebracat1234 wrote:Calmier wrote: I’m still having trouble finding good thoroughbreds or trakes. Wow Zebra! Thanks so much. I’m able to afford her, and I honestly wouldn’t know what to do without your help.Zebracat1234 wrote:Right after I posted my post above, I found a TB mare in the sales that's 4* Holstein-Zebracat1234 wrote:

How much would you stud either guy for? I don’t have a preference as both are lovely.
I’m thinking of starting a trake line from the beginning as the market ones are all rated *2.

Re: Calamite Hanoverians
Hey Enshadowed, I was wondering if I could buy the mare Solar Nova from you for my Hanoverian project. I’m willing to pay lots for her.Enshadowed wrote: hey

Re: Calamite Hanoverians
It feels like I’ve been posting here non-stop, but there’s a lot to say, and more to do! Today’s been full of good surprises.
The first comes in the form of a thoroughbred I purchased. After looking through a bunch of bad ones on the market, I found:
Thundercat

He’s a *5 in both Holstein and Hanov book! It’s refreshing to find something like him after looking through pages of horses that are rated N/A. Now the quest begins to find a Trake mare.
Training has also been going well- especially for Quicksand. Love that horse.
Quicksand

He’s trained up to 788.9%, and is 4 years and 7 months.
And the Cleveland Bay mare I mentioned a while back? She finally popped and gave me a lovely colt.
Dragonfly

Even though he’s only a *3 Holstein, I’m going off of Zebra’s experience that even lower rated horses can create new breeds.
All I need now are some nice trakes.
