Current FoalsMerrySmile wrote:I need some help. I'm new to cross breeding for a new breed. I've gotten as far as purchasing the necessary horses and bred them but come out 50% and not Ardennais. What do I need to do to get them to register as Ardennais?
This foal scores 2 and needs more ponytype
This foal scores 4 and needs more bodysize
Have you bought the Ardennais book in the store? every breed has a breedbook wich you use to evaluate your foals.
Your foals are almost there, they both need more mass so breeding your 50%foals with a new Belgium or other belgiumxforest mix can give you a Ardennais

No, I hadn't bought that book. I will now. Soooo, not that it would be a great thing to do, but i could breed my foals together to get a Ardennais.8arbarossa wrote:Current FoalsMerrySmile wrote:I need some help. Yeah you can do that, but in this case i would look for a high HGP Belgian.MerrySmile wrote: No, I hadn't bought that book. I will now. Soooo, not that it would be a great thing to do, but i could breed my foals together to get a Ardennais.
Gives your foals more mass, more pony type, increase HGP and stickers/confomation stats.
Some times it can take a while for you get the mix to work, but i am sure you can do it
