Cross Breeding
Okay... so I am thinking I want to get into Irish Sport Horses.
I just started on this game yesterday.
So first I have to create an Irish Draught right? http://www.horseworldonline.net/wiki/breed/167
And I do this by either crossing a Belgian with a TB or an Andalusian with a connemara? Does it just take one cross?
Are there any unwritten rules to breeding? E.g. breeding correct generation to generation, not breeding something with a red stat?
Sorry for all the questions!
Cheers,
B.

Re: Cross Breeding
No, you get an Irish Draught by crossing a Belgian-Tb with an Andy-Con.

Re: Cross Breeding
7-gen COI just tells you how related the horse is to the parents....if the 7 gen COI starts to hit 45% then your horses are becoming inbred mush and wont perform as well in the shows. I did some testing with that...all my horses at one points had like 2,000+ show points except the one that was 45%....I entered into 20 shows and he got 0's on everything. Also horse color, hair, and performance is all based on the past 7 generations of ancestors....the parents play a big factor...but I've taken 2 horses with thin short manes and have gotten a horse with a thick mane before.

Re: Cross Breeding
COI is how related the parents are to each other. It currently does not have an affect, as far as I know.
