i cant reply to my messages or go into the chat room

every time i try to go to the chat room it says "Sorry, you are not allowed in chat."

what did i do to not be allowed in the chat when i haven't even been able to chat?

You need to post a few more times on the forum and have those posts approved, then you can use chat.

Everyone must post enough on the forum before being allowed into chat as a security measure. New players have their posts reviewed before others can see them.

Please visit the newbie guide, found in the help, guides section. Also please read the other posts on this topic as well.

When anybody first signs up, we are required to have the first 5 posts be under review before they are okayed to be seen in our forums.
Alongside this, chat is restricted from any and all new players until after the first 5 posts have been reviewed and okayed.

Please understand that these are safety measures put in place by our admin for our players.
This is not a game error. Until you have 5 posts, you will not be allowed access into chat or immediately see your replies in topics.

Ways to come to the five posts:
Write a farm log in the farm log section.
Introduce yourself to the community in the general chat section.
Ask a question about the game itself that you can't find an answer to.
Join in on a contest in our contests section.
Ask about a horse color you can't figure out.
Advertise a horse of yours for sale or for stud.

These are just a handful of ideas that will aid in your posts being approved.

How do I see how many posts I have?
There are two very easy ways to see how many posts an individual has.
Beside the reply, to the far right, there is the profile information of that individual. There is a part that reads "posts:" with a number. This number is the count of the posts the individual has made in game to date.
Go to your notifications (the little envelope at the top left of the screen, it's right beside the Horse World Online link and logo). Click on the 'see all'. This is a quick way to get to your User Control Panel. You will appear in the overview section. Find the button (it's the first button, not the first tab) that reads 'Front Page'. Click Front Page. Here you will see your sign-up date, last active information and the count of posts you have to date.
