Re: Exmoor Pony
That's the general idea, but I do adjust some of the gene numbers somewhat once the genes are in the population.

Re: Exmoor Pony
Whelp, I gave it my best try (and I will still try to make it), but it looks like I'm probably going to miss out on this one. GG to those of you who made it!

Re: Exmoor Pony
Don't know if I'll get any of my breeding goals done by the time things are locked in, but I can at least try to share a little of what I have, for those of you who work faster than I do. Here are a couple, but I'll dig around and see if there are others who might be helpful.
I have a brown-carrying 50% Exmoor mix boy for anyone who wants to try to get more brown into the gene pool. Unfortunately, he's got big stripes and no pangare:

And last time I checked, I couldn't find any obvious brown studs in the marketplace, so I'm putting my Forest boy up for stud, if anyone wants:

Re: Exmoor Pony
Already almost there? That is pretty quick with all of us working on them together! I am so close to having bay/brown in my purebred Exmoors... I have crosses at 75% and higher that retained bay and one in brown in a smaller percentage. I have a couple 93% foals that won't be bay/brown but I am anxious to get these guys grown and bred into my lines for my Exmoor breeding post-AC project!
Brazen Boom 60%

Morning Dust 75%

Brazen Valentine 75%

Brazen Blues 80%

Re: Exmoor Pony
Just put a 4* Stud with low COI on the stud market. He carries the brown gene for those that are looking to add seal brown into your herds your more that welcome to use him.
