My favorite horse:
HB CRYSTAL EXPLOSION

Honey was her nickname, but I almost always called her Crystal... Honestly this is going to be a cry session for me to write. I love this mare, she was the closest thing in this game to seeming like one of my real horses to me. She passed a year ago today and I can't tell you how hard I cried when I saw that notification. All I knew was a huge part of my farm was gone. Forever. I would never see her in her private pasture again... but I would see her daughters (she had many) and her son's daughters. This mare changed everything. She was at first a accident... a botched quest breeding. But I quickly fell in love with her cute face and her pretty color. So I kept her. This mare was a can do horse... even without training she would win EVER SINGLE level ten Local show in EVERY discipline except for log pull and in hand jumping. She could come in first in reining, then cut cows, then preform dressage and wrap it up by marathon driving. All the while she could be as big as a house with a foal. She gave me my farm record for durable, hardy cross-breds. Her legacy was a barn and a half full... only after her death did I sell a single one of her foals. She had the HGP and BR to make fantastic foals... and she did it too. But one of the most amazing traits was her incredibly LOOOOONNNNGGGGG life... she lived to 35 years and 1.8 months. She passed 4 turns after giving me her final foal. Often she went 10 turns before being bred back so the fact that she stayed alive is amazing. Crystal left something else that can never be changed. She left Golden Meadows leaving behind a truly impressive legacy, and she left me with hope, and the ability to carry on all my projects. In her lifetime Crystal made me 4,500,496 dollars (I kept track), helped me beat 17 personal records, raised 12 beautiful foals (there where 15 but 3 got rehomed after sale or at birth due to needing space), and set a legacy in motion that will not be stopped. Even if she never gave me a purebred Champion she did something else. Look around my farms... all of that is because of her. So Crystal... Thank you baby girl. Mama misses you. <3 <3 <3 XOXOXO
