Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

Great! I'm so glad that they'll be put to good use.UnpredictableDragon wrote:Wow thats so kind of you!! We would be happy to take any horses you have to offer. Trust me, our breeders will thank you! If you would like to link some horses, I can take them and store them for later use.

Groningen Mares
Groningen Stallions
Groningen Colts and Fillies
Fjord Mares
Fjord Stallions
Fjord Colts and Fillies
I'll try to get on more in the next few days so that I can privately sell them to you. I don't have premium anymore, so I can only do two sales at a time. I think there are 30 total? This might take a while!

Re: The Rare Breed Repopulation Community
I went to accept your offers but it says you don't have enough room for more horses! Let me know when that's changed so that I can accept them. Also, you don't have to offer so much! I was expecting $1 since they're donations!Heartland2001 wrote:i would love to take a few groningens to help bring up the numbers

Re: The Rare Breed Repopulation Community
I've made a list of my crossed studs and recipe horse studs for anyone here who might need to use them. There's also a list of non-crosses in a variety of breeds. Let me know which one you want to use and I'll put them up for stud for a few days.
Also, here's my current progress on the Dole Gudbrandsdal recipe horses:
Best Arabian x Forest Horse:
2* Filly || Too short, Too small, Too Pony-Type
Should balance relatively well with the FTs, though. The height will help balance out the tallness I've been getting on those ones, the Medium build will boost the FTs' Medium Light upwards which is needed, the size might be an issue but also might not; it's a bit RNG, and the FTs have been rather Horse-Type so slightly too much Pony-Type should balance.
Best Friesian x Thoroughbred:
4* Colt || Too tall
Everything besides height is pretty good on this guy. He's pretty in the middle for everything. Since the best FA is a filly, these two might make a breeding pair.
Barns/Pastures: 1 2 3
I don't know which ones I'm keeping yet hence why they aren't yet branded. I plan to give them a good lookover and decide if they're useful or not when they reach breeding age. At that point I'll name and brand them.
Also, Collectors:
I'm making an educated guess and saying that we're working our way to creating some Latvian Harness Horses, of which there's only 2 in the game. Those are Dole Gudbrandsdal x North Swedish Horse, so keep your eyes open for any North Swedish Horses up for sale. Evals won't really matter; higher ones are certainly welcome, but I'll custom breed them to fit the eval if I need to. I have no idea as to their rarity, therefore even an N/A eval will work.
North Swedish Horses are made via Forest Horse x Dole Gudbrandsdal. If you guys are up to it, grab the North Swedish book from the book store and see if you can't locate any 4* or 5* Forest Horses for them. We'll probably need them. A stud and a couple of mares would be fantastic, but only go for mares if you can't find a 5* stud; I'll take them if you need space in your farms. Again, if the evals aren't working out and you can't find anything above a 2* or N/A Eval, then just grab the highest ones that you can and I'll custom breed them.

Thank you for your interest in this community

It seems your horses are already taken care of, but if you have any other rare-ish breeds or breeds that help make rare breeds, I can take them whenever

Do You Meet The Requirements: Yes
Why You Want To Join As A Treasurer (Optional): We don't currently have a Treasurer and since I have a decent amount of money, I'm alright with stepping up. Depending on how costs go, I might have to step down in the future.
Proof of Money: I'm not entirely sure how to prove it aside from buying a horse from you to prove the funds and then having you buy it back to return those funds. I'm willing to put forth a few million purely as club funds to start with. Depending on how much of that's used and how quickly it's used, I can certainly donate more.
As a small suggestion for Treasurer things, maybe add a part under the Treasurer Tier description that says who has donated what amount; that'll make it easier to keep track of things.
Do You Meet The Preferred Note: Yes
Why You Want To Join As A Breeder (Optional): I'm making the recipe horses and since there's no one to take those recipe horses and use them, I figure I can go ahead and do that for now.
Other: None
Eventually I think I'd like to just settle on Advisor/Evaluator/Extra and Specific Breeder. For now I'm willing to spread into other roles until this community gets more members.

You are accepted into those roles and you can absolutely step down whenever you deem necessary. I am currently adding your suggestion
