But she has moments where she gets into it and I can just see the wheels turning as she realizes it's more comfortable to go that way. And then her muscles get tired and she loses it. :P

As far as riding, I think she's going to have Mojo's big, swinging walk, and a lovely uphill canter - the kind that holds you in the seat. I honestly have no idea what her trot is going to be like. I'm horrible at judging how a trot will feel under saddle by just watching it. She mostly looks mildly springy so I'm hoping she'll be a smooth ride. But a bouncy trot is definitely not the end of the world.
Not really helpful in the 'guess what Freya will do/feel like' division, but personally I like long, swinging trots. The kind that makes you keep yourself in the 'air' for longer than you can hold. I hear most people seem to like the shorter, quicker type of trots, I don't know why, the pauses feel much more comfortable for me then the shorter ones...
She kind of looks like a longer stride and definitely looks like a bit of spring there, so, I'd agree with you. Mild spring is nice. Just enough to catch and hold for the post and not quite enough to launch you into two-point.

 I remember riding a horse that did that! Don't remember who it was, but that horse did teach me one thing, the subtlety of just how little muscle is needed to pause in the moment of post. I was able to really refine my post on that horse. He? was a fun ride for certain. 8-)

There was one horse that was at my old barn that had the best trot for posting. He just made you post. Both the up and the down. The awful part was that he was a PSG school master, so you were mostly supposed to sit his trot. Sitting his trot was basically an exercise in futility. Or torture. But I really enjoyed riding him because I wasn't doing high-level dressage lessons on him so I could post and nobody cared. Oh, except that he took "on the bit" to mean "ask the rider to hold up my entire front end only by their arms." He was something.

On a different subject, something I forgot to mention yesterday: I finally have cross ties for my barn! :D Freya got to meet them yesterday and spent some time in them today as well. Yesterday she mostly just looked confused but complacent. Today she knew what she needed to do but was antsy because I made her stand there while I got the food ready and she wanted to eat now. She didn't do anything silly, but I could tell that I was testing her patience. :P

First off let me two you your horses are beautiful! From the looks of you foal, she’s such a special girl! I was hoping to breed my mare to him this summer but wanted to speak to owners of his foals to get more if a sense on his babies and to see if they recommend breeding to him! PS I loved going through all the baby pictures and videos of little freya 😂

It is super hard to sit to those horses. I could, at one point, confidently say that I could manage a sit even on those types. Eh... Now is another story, haven't been on a horse in too long.
But I also couldn't quite figure out how to sit a canter. That's where I stopped.
To be clear (for anybody else reading), I understand what my problem was with the canter now, but haven't been on a horse since I figured it out.

Seeing how Freya moves, I suspect she's going to figure out really quick, how to manage you for the post and also how to 'take the spring out' when you sit to the trot. Unfortunately, not all horses can mange it, let alone figure it out, but I suspect Freya's going to pick up on it, even before you get a chance to actually challenge her for such a request.

Walking Spots, it'd be interesting if you did breed to the stallion and to see what type of foal you get. Should you be inclined to, please share it with the community! We all enjoy such shares. 8-) Also, please remember to practice safe internet procedures (hide your name, address, any faces of people, license plates, etc.), should you decide to share any pics.

I really like what Pax has produced. I will caution you, though, that among the Knabstrupper community he and his owner have a bit of a bad reputation. Renee butted heads with KNN and some of the older Knab breeders in the US and so she never got Pax his approval with KNN, though he is approved with the Westfalen Knab book and AES. So if you want a foal that can actually be KNN registered, you're better off going with Pyxis or Talent or Codex or any of the other boys currently standing.

Honestly I love my baby and I wouldn't undo her for anything. But the drama in the community is making me wish she had a different sire.

Thank you so much for the info! I didn’t know about the drama… his foals are amazing, but yeah that doesn’t sound nice to deal with. I’ll definitely be looking into the other studs you’ve mentioned and see what else I can find! Thank you again, say hi to your ponies for me and I’m definitely going to continue following your girls progress! 😁

Oh, I should note that if you're wanting to breed something that isn't a registered warmblood (excluding American Warmbloods), an arabian, or a TB, you're still better off going with Pax or one of Renee's other boys. That's part of the drama is that Renee is happy to cross her boys on whatever, whereas the other Knabbie people tend to have a stick up their bums and will only do approved crosses, no matter if the mare owner wants to register with KNN or not.

She's grown up so much since the last time I checked this thread, holy hay stacks! She's growing up to be such a beautiful mare! <3
