It's wrong for you as minor to disrespect adult players...never said you don't have rights. But speaking from personal opinion and experience you have harassed me in many ways. You are the one who said you didn't have rights, therefore you said it. Please don't put words in my mouth it's not very nice. There are plenty of players whom you have hurt and I think they all deserve an apology and you deserve to be forgiven for it all. But if you look at my posts, I never once stated you have no rights. Saying "You have no right to do this" means "You do not have authority over adults when you are a minor."Training Services wrote:It's wrong to think that minor don't have all rights.HallOfFame 2 wrote:Sigh, this has gone on way too long...people need to realize this is just a game and it's game money, not like $250k is gonna show up in your IRL bank account for a pixel horse. I know it stinks but that's just how things are. Sin in the world causes us to get into things that we shouldn't be doing.Training Services wrote:It's wrong to think that minor don't have all rights.HallOfFame 2 wrote:Sigh, this has gone on way too long...people need to realize this is just a game and it's game money, not like $250k is gonna show up in your IRL bank account for a pixel horse. I agree with Oreo...sin is an awful thing. But it's our job to keep it lowkey.PeacefulOreo wrote:I know it stinks but that's just how things are. Sin in the world causes us to get into things that we shouldn't be doing.Training Services wrote: It's wrong to think that minor don't have all rights.

That is all up to you. You can either apologize to the people you have hurt and be forgiven and move on and learn from this, or just give up and quit.

Good, I am glad you are going to consider staying. Because the game isn't meant to be like this and there is not supposed to be this much drama. Just think about things on a deeper level maybe and try to put yourself in their place. How would you feel if you wanted a horse really badly but someone's side account outbid you until you became broke but won the horse, but had $0 left? Or if you asked for help and opened a business but no one was nice to you and didn't obey your rules and rushed you too much? You wouldn't like that and neither would they. I hope you can come to peace about this matter.Training Services wrote:i'll think abou t itHallOfFame 2 wrote:

Re: Velvet for Sale!
So I see this has been ongoing for a while now.
Training Services has the right to offer their horse in an auction situation. And also has the right to refuse offers. Just like we all have the right to do so on this game. We are also allowed to be greedy, but there's fair-greedy and black-list greedy and such a thing is a very fine line. Many of us choose to be fair without being greedy. Many of us choose to offer what consists of charity and free help.
However, it's unwise in many respects to share an account. Beyond having things done that may not be known to the co-owner, it's so easy to have our own personal accounts on here. I do not personally agree with co-ownership.
Admin has not made a rule against it, but if we have too many sharing accounts and begin to have problems pop up from shared accounts, they will enact a one owner policy and kick any co-owned accounts. This has happened to every game I've ever played at some point in the past, so much so that there is a regular policy for many games to have the rule first that there is only one owner per account. We are lucky here that admin has allowed us so much leeway and if we as a community are not careful, we will loose many of our freedoms. We as a community are not the only ones that want to keep such freedoms, our admin doesn't want to restrict us either.
Be wise to what each of us do, because certain things, and a lot of those things affect the community as a whole, not just the singular player.
If a person wants to try playing on a borrowed account for awhile to get a feel of the game without actually signing up, I personally have no problems with it, just as long as the owner of said account takes on full responsibilities for anything that comes from it.
Which means, if I take myself at what I just said, Co-owned accounts need one head owner that will take full responsibility for anything that happens on and to that account. Which may also include making restitution to the community or to a singular player for accidentals.
I am not fond of bidding on a self-owned horse, with the sole exception of placing a starting or minimum bid. If there is a co-owner situation and the other owner wants the horse, then sell the horse privately. Better yet, sell it to the account holder on a private account that's separate from the co-owned account. It doesn't offer a fair-market if the same owner is both selling the horse and also buying the horse. It defeats the purpose, besides, how does one manage the monies on a co-owned account? That, in itself, isn't fair to either owner of that same co-owned account.
Now... as for honeybunny... First, let me say I sympathize with you loosing your real-life horse. Second, It's not healthy to manifest emotions on something that doesn't even exist (the horse here that looks like him). And third... this arabian isn't as unique as you might think. I've seen quite a few of these very, very similar markings all in arabian breed come through the market quite often. So keep your eyes open and you will find another that fits your desire for a lookalike. In fact, you may find another player that has one that they're willing to sell as a 'heart' horse.
PeacefulOreo has some very good suggestions. And I do find that the community is beginning to talk out the events and situations. So as much as they continue to happen, which isn't necessarily a good thing, I am personally very happy to see that we as a community are using our words and trying to find common grounds. Besides, without situations happening and corrections occurring, we can't learn and move forward.
So my personal summing up opinion on this situation: Bidding on a horse owned by the account that's also selling the horse, does not offer fair-market value or fair-market trade on said horse or to the market (the community at large). In the future, please change the manner of the sale to meet fair-market values. As far as the price, price is always in the value and eye of the buyer, not necessarily the seller. We as a community can offer help in defining a possible value on a horse, but each person may have a different opinion on said value, so, when offering a value, ALWAYS include your reasoning, fully defined. After all, one person's basic grinder is another person's base breeding stock.
I close with this mare, that came from recipe quest stock and gave birth to a record-breaking horse that was raised to be that 'basic grinder':
