debating on asking for red dun near leopard qh's now
I don't have quarter's from scratch. Haven't even got the quest yet.
It might be easier to take the belgian stock and breed it over into quarter rather than take the tarpan stock and breed it over into quarter. The body size would be more appropriate if it sticks closer to belgian build then tarpan build...

Red dun is really such a nice color. I have my own mini-army on my other account. They are quite the combination to look at.vallers wrote:

But it wasn't until I started the low GP project that I learned that with a little pangare added to the mix and we can easily develop pseudo-creams.
Recently, I was introduced to a pseudo-white that was a double cream and pangare.
Not as white as some of them, but with my previous experiences with pangare, I'm now of the belief that these double dilutes (no champagne) when paired with pangare, can easily be a true pseudo-white.
Quite an interesting combination.

Pseudo-whites are difficult enough without adding leopard or tobiano to them!vallers wrote:

But such is when we get such neat outcomes!
Trying to help define such dilutes is a pain in the butt... Maybe I'll start answering with your color answer: it's pink.

They can sit on freeze for now, so you have plenty of time (I'm just happy that this 'yeah, two weeks sounds like too long anyway'... two months later... is actually coming to it's fruition).vallers wrote:BlackOak2 wrote:

I'm going to finish up with the leftover breedings and see how many more pure belgians I can get. I'll send them to boarding there (there may soon be a second misc pasture to start filling). And you can take your picks or take them all, your choice. If you take only certain picks, then the rest will either be aged out or rehomed, not sold.
The second princess, really? She doesn't rank high on the coverage scale for my tastes. Kind of fell flat from both parents. But the rest of her is good. My favorite from that bunch is the Third Prince. Unique pattern coverage; solid head, streak of solid coverage on barrel and huge negative area just above that.
Surprisingly, I manged to (without trying) breed out the tobiano markings. Go figure.

Ah, I can see it now.vallers wrote:

She does look a little like she's wearing armor. But definitely the helmet.
Shame we don't have knight tack to put on them, it would really make her look sharp!
