This is the onlypart i'd question.

Those with cream, palomino or bay-cream dilute coats usually show a metallic shade which gives them the appearance of having golden body hair. In white horses, grey liarts, perlinas… the same thing happens, but the sensation is of silver hair. This curious effect is due to the fact that the proteins in the coat emit these metallic iridescence when light falls on them. Although dark-coloured horses do not have the same effect, they do have a high glossy coat. This means that the most valued and desired coats are the albinos and cremellas, which have silvery and pearly metallic reflections. And, of course, the palominos with that incredible golden effect given to them by the ‘cream gene’, which is why these animals are known as “the gold-plated horse”.

How the horses IRL coat presents could be seen as Pearl in game :)

Also happy to be a resource!
We have that gene in-game. It's called metallic. :)

The pearl gene itself, as it is mapped genetically and thus exists in-game, does not exist in the Akhal-Teke breed. The pearl gene also does not cause metallic shine. It is a dilution gene, very similar to the cream gene. On its own, the pearl gene is recessive. It is co-dominant with cream. A pearl/cream horse looks very similar to a double-cream horse. A double-pearl horse looks similar to a single-cream horse, though double-pearl will dilute black pigment to chocolate where a single-cream will not.

Aha, thats why i was missing it, makes sense. Then yes, no pearl if the metallic can be increased IMO, its not showing as much as i would expect from the IRL breed

It probably needs to be selectively bred for expression. You won't get too much straight out of the box, especially as only one parent (the Turk) can carry the gene to begin with.

Also, I forgot to ask: What "services" would you like me to list with you under resources?

I'm interested in helping out with the Akhal-Teke, they're such a lovely breed and pretty easy to breed as well. Was wondering whether we're breeding for confo, or a 5 eval for the breed, or anything else I should know?

As far as I have read and seen from players and larissar so far - We should be aiming to breed a 5 eval that fits a realistic body look/type, and follows plausible coat colours.

Thanks! since I have been breeding high-speed horses for a long time, I already know the features that come out in conformation even without clarifying them. For example, a high-speed horse is unlikely to have good movement. therefore, it is worth removing everything above 45 in motion. I really know a lot, I understood a lot about this game, but the modern interface slows down my work just terribly much. It's inconvenient for me to move horses, put food on them, now instead of two tabs, I poke 10 times to understand whether I need this horse or not. while I'm putting the feed, while I'm putting it in the right barn, while I'm checking the confo, while I'm checking the report, everything is now pilfered in different corners. and it is impossible to analyze it being in your right mind, and having a limited amount of time to play. My hands and eyes are tired, poking so many buttons, and keeping everything in my head, and now I also don't see a comment - why would I need it in this case at all if I don't see it when breeding, and being in the barn menu? horror. I just realized that the only thing that has become convenient in this interface is competitions and a training block, that's all. We probably don't have a choice anymore, and most likely, I won't go into any more serious projects. I am a person with a 5\2 job and a family, I can't sit for so long and press buttons 10 times.))))))) Sadly. It's really sad. I thought the new interface would simplify the work.

So, in conclusion, I will do the second generation for now, on my own, and using what the community has to offer. Since I'm in Russia, I can't buy anything anymore. There won't be enough resources to buy horses from AC. There is not enough time, therefore, only 2-3 generations. I will try to keep koi at 0%.
