I saw your Mongolian Log and wanted to let you know I am hosting a Mongolian only recurring daily show in Working Ranch. Once I get more show slots and Mongolians I can expand that to gender shows or other divisions of Western. I only train my grinders and most my horses are in pastures but the shows can be helpful to gain them points and see where they stand in the breed records or if they have heart. You could end up being a Breed Record Holder that way as well.

Noted! I'm not entirely sure how you go about breeding for records (I'm looking into it right now) but I think it'd be something interesting to try. I'm sure it'll be difficult without premium, but I'm a fifth of the way there in pony tokens. I think I'll keep training and doing breeds until I get to the 500 that I need for that, then I'll get into Mongolians more seriously.

Anyway, I do think I want to try for Western ones, so hopefully I can help make use of those shows! I'm gonna have to be careful with what horses I cross them to for coat coloration so that they'll stay within the build for that.

Yeah, I hear ya on keeping the color. I didn't pay enough attention to that so I'm going to have breed color in later. And now that Red Movement is back to haunt me everywhere so I may spend a couple of breeding seasons trying to improve that.

Mhmm. I'm probably going to try to find a gold movement grade horse and hope that that'll help improve things on my first batch. I'm a bit worried about the Tarpan Varnish being passed along; they tend to get so white and misty from it that you can't see the color anymore and I want to avoid that.

Ah, sudden realization that 5000 PT would do a year of premium whereas 500/month is 6000 for a year. Looks like I have a lot of saving to do.

Anyway, you don't at the moment have room for that horse and I've got her to breeding age, so I'm going to freeze myself there for today. Don't worry about hurrying to free up room; this is a good break for me.

Also if you end up with any Tibetans or accidental Sumba mares in particular that you're looking to sell, let me know. I have six Tibetan breeds to go through and I'm worried that they'll age out before I get there. Also the mare Sumbas are refusing to exist. My Chinese Ponies have stopped throwing Tibetans and Sumbas; I keep getting Chinese Pony x Mongolian crosses from them, so I'm very much in the market for either breed.
