Thank you for this! I felt like I had to keep going because I didn't want to disappoint the players that I was working with, but I really think it's time for a break. I'm going to definitely enjoy the outdoors more; I live in the Midwest and the leaves are just beginning to bud on the trees right now. That also means a lot of pollen though...

Yeah, I can't wait to see my horses again! I have worked very hard to buy/breed a lot of them, so I don't think I'll be gone forever! I might come back on just to look at them (if I don't forget my password first , but then I can just do the "forgot your password" thing).

Try not to be concerned with disappointing anybody in the community. When we have fun with people and those people leave, it's natural to be disappointed and to miss them. This is simply the way it is. Think instead of YOUR time and YOUR life. And also of perhaps that day you might return.
And don't forget to take your Flonase! It's a lifesaver... er... nosebreather!

And as for your poor breeding mares, You'll still be in good company if you return! We've all lost notice on projects, I can't count the times it's posted in the forums... 'I had a lot of projects going when I left, I can't remember where I was or what these horses are for!' Even I've done it. So loosing a couple mares because of an accidental turn might not be as big a loss as you might regret. Because you won't remember what they were originally for. Which, in retrospect, might be better. Return fresh, delve into fresh projects.

Also, I looked through my farm to try to find mares with a short back and max rib cage, but I didn't see any. I'm sorry! I guess I know what I should breed for if I come back.

Hi! If you don't know who I am, my username is Jockey and I've been on this game for three years. I'll admit; it's been a fun few years, but I must say that especially recently, the emotional pressure of playing this game has really caught up with me. That being said, I think I'm going to leave the game; if not, at least be a lot less active. I haven't decided quite yet how many horses I'm going to sell (or even if I'm going to sell any more of my horses), but I've just wanted to thank a few players who have always been there for me and helped me out:

You definitely deserve to be at the the top of this list for me! You've always been my most favorite player to talk to and work with, and I will definitely miss you. As I said in the PM, if you want any of my horses, I won't hesitate at all to give them to you.

Your posts always make me smile, and you've helped me determine colors that my horses have had that I didn't even know existed! Your knowledge of horse genetics and this game is unmatched (as far as I know), and I just wanted to say thank you for helping me out, especially in the beginning!

I don't even know if you remember me, but I just wanted to say thank you for everything. Within the first month of me playing, you let me compete one of your horses (I think his name was PV Golden Idol, but I don't remember; he was a buckskin), and that's what got me into breeding Tbs. When you offered to breed Tbs to the public, you let me breed one of my mares to this guy (https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1398810), and that filly became the foundation for all of my Tb breeding. You also encouraged me when I was ready to give up attempting to breed Hessian Warmbloods. I never got one, but I managed to breed my own Standardbreds when I followed some of your advice (https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2303289 & https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/2304870). Thank you for everything that you've done for me.

Thank you for always being someone I can count on. From studding out some of your nicest stallions to me, to even selling this mare to me (https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1502015; my first over 50 speed Tb), you've also been instrumental in helping me breed racing Tbs. That mare with Frost's stallion actually created this mare (https://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1567151), which became my first over 60 speed Tb. I remember offering 500k for your mare and wondering if it be enough because that was all the money I had, but you accepted right away. Thank you! She started everything for me. Without both your and Frost's generosity, I would not have the Tbs I have today.

I'm sorry if I missed anybody! My head is spinning right now trying to remember everything that has happened and all of the people who have helped me out. Once again, thank you to everyone mentioned above and anyone else who has helped me (meganamber; you were the best!). Now, I don't know whether or not I will be completely leaving the game; I may hop on the forums every once in a while to help others or offer a couple studs. However, I will probably not be competing or breeding my horses in the future. I hope you understand, and I hope that the rest of you continue enjoying this game! I have never found one with quite as many generous and kind people as this one. Keep up the good work, HWO!

I'll see how things work out. Life has been getting pretty stressful for me, and trying to make sure that I return horses that I train within a decent amount of time, answering pings, and making sure that I don't accidentally put a horse up for sale that I meant for stud aren't really helping . So, maybe I will come back; maybe I won't, but I'm always going to remember this community as one of the kindest game communities I have even been a part of. I hope I can chat with you again, but if I can't, just know that I've enjoyed being on this game with you!
