I very much disapprove of that on my post. Not every single new player is going to welcome handouts. Some "newbies" like to test their own strategy in building their farm and personal wealth, only asking for help where it is needed. Many people do not like feeling indebted to others, or are simply too polite to take large offers. Maybe you can learn something from polite players. Have a nice day, and best of luck.

It is fine, i'm sure. I did not mean to be snarky but I hate to discourage new players from participating. We need new players to keep us on our toes in competing and breeding :P someone's gotta beat Bitapetrone's fancy racers eventually

I must say, that I really like this topic.
It's a great tribute to our community.

I must agree with this: Some "newbies" like to test their own strategy in building their farm and personal wealth, only asking for help where it is needed. - Retsi

I am one of these types of players. However, I must note that this is not in response to recent 'replies' to this topic. It is simply an agreement to a statement.

So to get in to this topic as well, here are my replies:
Are you enjoying HWO so far? What are your favorite things to do?
Of course! It's a great game and I have been searching for one just like this for years!
Breeding is a favorite of mine; trying to breed in to the types of visual conformations I want is fun and also at times very annoying and frustrating, but still overall fun.

Which breeds do you love in real life, do you own any on HWO?
Arabians are great. Their personalities are just the type I seem to get along with the best. I don't own any however.

What is the current goal you have for your farm?
The leopard tarpan project is finally almost arriving at the second stage. Pretty soon they'll be opening to the public.
I am also running a mini-side-project on developing a heavy arabian for quests.
And also, I (along with a lot of others) am still trying to get that under 10000 HGP horse.

Do you need any help with learning how to earn money?
I've been around for awhile and have plenty.

Do you need any help creating a new breed?
I've got this down as well. Even we, who have been around for awhile, find creating new breeds at times very frustrating.

Have you met any other players who have helped you along the way?
I've met and interacted with almost all of the players who've been here for quite some time. There are players (both new and not new) that still help me see things on occasion. This game has a lot of little intricacies so it's difficult at times to keep up with and remember all of them.

What are your real life interests and hobbies?
A lot of a little bit and a bit of everything. Of course this doesn't help with remembering everything! Or at times... anything... Ha! :D

I dont think it's fine when you report my post to Tom. I help a lot of people in this game, i support new people and try to offer horses that people need, why i deserve to be reported is beyond me. i made a mistake by posting in your Tread, it wont happen again

Reported so it could be addressed by a moderator. I am not a moderator so I cannot do the job of a moderator, only consult one. I don't care whether or not you help anyone, that has nothing to do with what you said and what you said was neither helpful nor necessary to anyone on this thread much-less anyone on this game. When you make comments that are ill in nature, they disrupt the positive environment that many try to uphold out of respect for others and certainly out of respect for young and impressionable children whom we share this game with. That also includes players who cannot comprehend the tone in which your comment was written. You made the other player very uncomfortable which is why it was reported. Hope this clears up why it was reported. It was not for my sake, nor do I have any bad feelings towards you. Thank you for your time and your helpfulness. Again, have a nice day.

Me too! I've played all sorts of online horse games, I think this is the best one yet. I can't wait to see what happens as it continues to develop. It seems like a democracy, any player can suggest things and have their ideas considered. It's really nice to be able to be directly involved in the way the game changes.

Here-Here!
I, too, like having a say, but I also like having to walk a particular path. A 'two-choice' type of scenario. Like, we'll be working on this or this, but you get to decide which one and how much.
What I think I like most about the development of this game is the fact that it's open-ended. What I mean is not that it's not always in development but that the areas of the game can always be expanded and were designed to be 'easily' so. I'm not sure I can explain it...

Well, let's post something here :'p First of all, I'm not English, so expect bad grammar, word choice and spelling x)

Are you enjoying HWO so far? What are your favorite things to do?
Yes, I'm really enjoying it! My favorite things to do are breeding and surfing the forums, altough I don't post much x)

Which breeds do you love in real life, do you own any on HWO?
I really love KWPN, or at least, so we call it in my country. I think it's caled Dutch Warmblood in English, but I'm not sure. And yes, it's not a real breed but a studbook (is this even a correct term? xD), but I just love the personalities of these horses. And no, sadly I don't own any on HWO, but I'm planning on maybe getting some in the future, but for now I want to focus on one breed, due to space.

What is the current goal you have for your farm?
I want to boost up the stats of the North African Barb horses, because I noticed most studs are reds or nothings, while trying to keep their Original body shape (and maybe a little higher hips so they are better in racing).

Do you need any help with learning how to earn money?
Not really. I know I can mow grass, participate in local shos, competitions, sell horses and set my stallions for stud, but if there are more ways, tips are always welcome ^^.

Do you need any help creating a new breed?
No not really. I know how it works with the books and conformation etc. I did my research xD.

Have you met any other players who have helped you along the way?
I met some who tried to, but I didn't accept ^^.

What are your real life interests and hobbies?
I sing in a band, play keyboard to accompany myself while practising and I ride horses at a stable. I don't know the correct term in English, but I'll try to explain. Well, it's a stable where horses come and go. They're bought and sold to different people. I train them so they're worth more so the boss can make a profit. Luckily they aren't mistreathed or anything, because I hear stories of other such stables where the horses just stand in a small stable without any attention, only waiting to be sold. At that stable I also lease a mare, KWPN of 23 years old. She's called Nekina and acts like a foal. Most people think she's 12 :'). I really love her and I hope she'll keep on living for many years <3

That was my long long long story
