Searching For Stallion, Very Strong WPS, Tb, Tb mix or Grade

He shows a lot of what I'm looking for. But when I investigate his times in Racing, it seems that many of these firsts (what I'm looking for) are earned in low levels and when pushed against horses in high levels, he falters.
He appears to be running on pure talent alone. That's fine and dandy, a great horse overall, but he doesn't have the heart I'm looking for.

So... I'm not interested in him either.

Well, in that case, keep the 'best one' and even if it's a bit below your requirements, you'll still have ONE at least. Replace as you go along. That's how I handled one of my earlier projects and it worked quite well. But we all also come to that too.

I've been working on this project on and off for the past few days; I started out with a few AC belgian mares and a grinder stallion and worked the HGP and stats up from there. Now I've gotten up to 92% belgian arabian mixes with 4-5 golds and 1-2 greens, but I just had to do a hard cull and up the standards to 67k+ hgp for mares and 70k+ hgp for stallions. That leaves me with two stallions and a few mares, but that meant that I needed to rehome/sell quite a bit of my stock. A bit dissapointing to have to rehome a few good foals but, such is.

Yeah. It's such a shame, isn't it? Reject foals, at least from my born stock, have a slim chance for other club members, but... it is easier to just get rid of them in fast order.
And all the colts!

Culling hard serves a purpose though. Without it, you do dilute the bloodline. By keeping only the best, you keep yourself honed and your bloodline sharp.

I have decently strict requirements for these stallions. So just because I reject one, it doesn't mean it's a bad horse. It means that (usually) he's lacking in the same area that my stock is also lacking. By breeding such horses together, it just makes the problem worse, instead of correcting it.

You have some really good stock. If some of those get records that match his is some way, I'd be willing to look over them again. Who knows, you might have a gem hidden there. And then, you might not want to sell him. And who could blame you? I certainly wouldn't.

I've been lucky enough to get plenty of fillies as well as colts for this project, though some of my other projects it was all colts and no fillies .

I do have this guy who you might be interested in... I don't think I'd be willing to sell him (need to keep some good hearted horses for my own herd ) but I'd certainly be okay with aging him up and then letting you borrow him for studdings.

I do have this guy who you might be interested in... I don't think I'd be willing to sell him (need to keep some good hearted horses for my own herd ) but I'd certainly be okay with aging him up and then letting you borrow him for studdings.

Considering his overall stats, he's hanging on pretty decent and offering competitive times. But keep a hold of him (like you said you would). I can use the other studs that I've so far collected.
I'll be putting at least one more club-public stud up here sometime in the next few months. So even if it's an outside line and you need to give heart a boost, there are other options (club members can still use club prices even with their outside lines).

Still looking for a good brood-stud... a stud that gives consistently nice fillies (and not just a bunch of colts and one or two really nice fillies -_- ). I'll find one, someday, and keep a strangle-hold on him.
