Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

Activity level: I'm usually on basically every day, but every few weeks I take a small rest to prevent burnout lol
Time zone (if comfortable sharing): UTC- 7:00
Commitment level (# of mares at a time that you'll dedicate to the project): My current max broodmares is 8, because I took a break from breeding to focus on maxing training. But I'd be willing to invest more moolah into this stat if necessary.
Notes/other: I saw your Shetland National Secret and I fell in LOVE. Like omg he's so cute, so ever since then I've been watching from the sidelines. . .

Re: ISO Breeding Partners for Steeple Shets
Sounds great! How many studs/mares would you be wanting, and what genetic preferences do you have (if any)?

Re: ISO Breeding Partners for Steeple Shets
I think 3 studs, 8-10 mares would be good. I don't have any preferences, just looking forward to some cute foalsCypress Creek Elites wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 5:42 pmSounds great! How many studs/mares would you be wanting, and what genetic preferences do you have (if any)?

Re: ISO Breeding Partners for Steeple Shets
Keep in mind that in order to lower COI you will need to bring in a fairly significant amount of AC stock.
Young mares on my second account are here (2-3 only please):
https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/barn/201909
Retired mares are in https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/200960
You can also check through the retirement pastures I have on this account; I should have some more mares left over there as well.
I am willing to give any of the first four studs in https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/199810
and/or the first two in https://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/163636
