Really excited about this colt:

Earned a 35.48% without training, making him my current highest. I'm going to train him up and see how far he goes :)

Also, very well done on the four greens!! When are you unleashing these beasts on the competition circuit?

Showing isn't a priority of mine, but I'll start training that guy eventually. My other greenies were shown maybe 200 times (pretty much entered in every available show in one day) before I just tossed them on my spare to continue with the greens project. Once I work through the studs I'm using now and get my broodmare band where I want it, I'll start pulling in the better stallions; once I grab that guy from my spare for breeding, I'll start training as well.

I felt like doing a write-up of my current plans, both for my benefit and for those who many be curious.
Currently, I'm focusing on improving my mare herd. I'm quite pleased with the state of my stallion roster -- in particular the asterisked sires--, but my brood band has recently been falling behind. My goal is now to create a breeding herd that consists entirely of mares that have greens in Tempo and Balance, and preferably a green in Intelligence as well. On top of this, these mares must have high comments in Movement, with relatively low conformation. To achieve this I have created a ranking system for my mares; they can fall into the categories of Class A, B, or C, with + or - added depending on the number of greens. Class A mares are being held on my other account for later use with the roster stallions, and the lower class mares are being kept for use with some improving stallions. These mares are being bred to the following quality sires in four-year terms:

mTb, natu +15

This stallion only has one green, but "natural mover" is one of the highest movement breeders' report comments, and paired with his low movement conformation, he seemed like a good start. His term is complete.

MTbi, natu +15

He has two greens, one of which is is movement and the other is tempo, and he also has a strong intelligence comment. He's an improvement on the first stallion, so it made sense to use him next. His term is complete.

smTBi, natu +14

Another stallion with two greens, this time in tempo and balance, along with a high strength and intelligence comment. He lacks a green movement, but the lower movement conformation makes him a step forward for the program. His term is complete.

mTbi, natu +14

This stallion should have gone before the previous, but he is much younger, so he is being used now. He is a bit of a step back since his only green in in tempo and he lacks the high strength comment. His term is complete.

smTBi, natu +14

This guy is a step in the right direction, after taking a step back with the last one. Effectively the same as the third sire, but his tempo and balance conformations are one point higher and his strength conformation and comment are lower. His term is complete.

mTBI, natu +15

This guy just cropped up and I'm considering squeezing him in. I like that he has green tempo, balance, and intelligence; it makes him a good bridge between the other ten stallions. He had an extended term of 12 seasons in order to stock up on Class A and higher mares, and his term is now complete.

sMTBi, natu +15

Squeezing in another promising young colt. He's a step back on movement conformation by one point, but he has three greens, in movement, tempo, and balance, so he's a great jump forward for the program. The high comments in strength and intelligence are an added bonus.

MTBI, eyes +16

This stallion has been on hold for weeks, occasionally finding his way to this account when I need a boost in my breeding stock. He was my pride for a very long time as the first four-green horse in the game. Despite his lesser movement comment and higher conformation, I expect him to drastically improve my mare herd, especially with the support of the preceding stallions.

MTBI, eyes +15

Another four-green stallion, quite similar to the last, but with one less point toward his movement conformation, making him a slight improvement. Doubling up on these strong stallions should greatly improve my mare herd.

mTBi, natu +13

On the surface, this horse looks like a step back, since he only has two greens, in tempo and balance. However, he combines a better movement comment with lower movement conformation, so he should easily improve the mares he's bred to.

mTBI, natu +13

Similar to the previous one, this stallion combines low conformation with high comment, with the addition of green intelligence. Following up those two "eyes" stallions with my two lowest "natural mover" stallions should give me the best possible mare herd.

I've made a tremendous amount of progress in the last two days. I have bred 10 Class A+ mares and 18 Class A++ mares, with another 11 older class A+ mares as an additional option. My goal is about 36 of each group. I have also managed to produce four stallions with green movement on the lowest movement conformation possible thus far, three of which also have greens in tempo, balance, and intelligence, while the fourth lacks a green intelligence (he will be replaced eventually). This means that I can officially reject any colt born which does not have four greens! I've also reworked my stallion plan a bit since I had some nice colts crop up that I couldn't pass up.
