Re: Looking for Breeders to Order From

Tenacious Equine wrote:I made an account on here ages ago, forgot about it, and now I'm back and kind of figuring things out! I've picked out a breed I want to work towards, and though my initial hope was to breed all the way up myself, I have decided that the foundation breeds that I need should be bought from other players.
I would prefer that the breeder I choose to purchase from has a closed line (i.e. they bred all their stock themself) or that the horses are under 10% inbred.
If the players I end up working with have special conditions for their horses (Like I can't sell them or stud them out), I will do my best to meet those conditions.
I am looking for:
-Przewalski Horses (will probably only want one)
-Tarpans (will want two unrelated)
-Arabians (will want maximum of seven, preferably unrelated or minimally related)
-Turkmenes (will want maximum of six, preferably unrelated or minimally related)
It'll be a while, maybe a few weeks depending on how quickly I progress, before I start working on the project (gotta go through the quests and skills and get enough space and money to start out), but I'd like to start establishing a working relationship with a few players beforehand!
I'm doing all my organization (what breeds I have to get and what their ancestors are) on a google doc.
I'm hopeful that at the point when I start collecting the stock I need, I will be able to afford it, or make a deal of some kind with the breeders I purchase from to give them some of the foals.
I have a gorgeous arabian mare that I'm working on training. She's from I private line that I just stopped. I also have a champion arabian stallion with over 70,000 hgp.

I'm pretty sure I'm good for Arabians, but I'll let you know if I end up needing one! That is indeed a gorgeous mare. ^-^

Still searching for Tarpans and Turkmenes! Probably going to end up breeding the przewalski horses myself (as I have enough PT to get a few from the AC)

I have a line of Turkmenes going. They're all closely related at the moment (siblings or half siblings, though I haven't been breeding them together but rather I've been using public studs since they're more of a side project). I'm not sure if that's ideal for what you're looking for, so you might want to find some other breeders as well. Might be best to take one from my line, one from someone else's, etc.

I'll take a look at yours. May have to relax my standards for this project or I'm not going to get anything done

I keep ones I've trained here and ones that are still being trained here. I'd prefer to keep the trained ones that I have, though if you'd like a foal from them then I can do that. The ones that aren't fully trained are negotiable. Again, they're more of a side project so though they have some titles, I'm not super invested into entering them into competitions so they have more potential than is shown. I tend to stop once they get Grand Champion+ because I have a lot of horses that I'm titling.

I don't care about titles. Golden Essence and Blazing Chrome seem to be the two highest GP horses you have, and between the two of them look like they could be good candidates for Akhal-Teke breeding (which is one of the breeds I need before I can do much else).
I'd love a few foals out of them at some point, but I don't need them right now (still working on player skills and expanding)

I'm working on making higher HGP Turkmenes, so when you're ready for them there'll likely be more improvement. Hope they meet your expectations for your project when you're ready for them! :)
