yeah I didn't offer examples because I have no idea what these horses look like.

I was keeping in mind black as opposed to bay or brown (a/a) not black as opposed to chestnut (E/-). To avoid confusion between the two, I tend to call the latter "non-chestnut", but I know not everyone does this
Anyway, double non-chestnut is also not possible to check. The mare I offered, Grasa, has a chestnut grandsire, so chances she's E/e are present.
