Skrimsli Stables ~ Breeding towards a Western show horse

Well, all of my foundation mares have given birth to their last foals and will now either be put up for sale or kept for future breeding and to help me increase my numbers. Not sure yet. I will definitely be keeping Oni (my Forest Horse stallion) since I really like him for some reason. XD Unless someone really wants him and gives me a good offer for him.

So, onto Gen 2 we go to finish out Step One!
Sadly, Gen 2 will be starting out with only two fillies. I will be purchasing more to add in both new blood and, well, because I have to given how many colts I was "blessed" with.

The current breeding plans for these guys (subject to change, of course) is:
- Unity will be bred to Tarpan studs that I find to produce Mongolians.
- Two Tarpan mares will be purchased to breed to Black Cloud for Mongolians and Illusion for crosses.
- Beau will be bred to Indy to produce West African Barbs. An Arabian x North African Barb cross will be purchased to breed to Evening Mist for the same purpose.
- The Akhal-Tekes and Exmoor Ponies will have mares purchased to breed to them and try and get green stats and get them higher until they are needed for the breeding project in Steps 6 and 7.

So, basically, I will be needing:
- Two Tarpan mares
- Arabian x North African Barb mare
- Three Akhal-Teke mares
- Two Exmoor Pony mares


I am very excited to ALMOST have Step One completed, of course! =)

So as opposed to selling all of my foundation mares, I have decided to keep the three that has not yet been sold.
I will be continuing to use them for various crosses, probably until they pass away.
I have also purchased an Arabian stallion named Restless to be bred to Apache Clouds (Turkmene) and Summer Eclipse (NAB).
Moon Dancer was bred to WAB.
