Possibly. If you breed her to a non-silver stallion and you get a foal that looks like one of these http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... =13&t=1983 then you know your mare carries the silver gene.

well her dad had silver in him but her mum did no so I will breed her when she is 4
