My pleasure! I hope she throws a lovely foal for you.
I'll take SB down from the stud list for now. Please let me know if you need to rebreed either of the studs or if you want to try a different stud entirely.
Good luck! :)

but just when it's foals - I've long since reached the broodmare max and now I have to make lists to decide which mares I have to breed and when for what foal T-T and sometimes I keep foals on 'probation' and see if the dam gets a better one or they grow up nicely... and sometimes there are some cases where absolutly unexpected foals happen and I just need to keep them because ^^'
and on that note, do you have an andalusian of a similiar color? she came from mainly black ancestors and totally threw me off with her color - and I think it's strangly interesting, so I'm trying to get a similiar foal from her...

I totally understand the struggle of who to keep and who to let go (I, too, sometimes keep foals on retention just to see if I can get a slightly better one from the same breeding).
That color is incredible - she's beautiful!
My best guess is that she is a black base with silver and a lot of mealy (panagrea? I always misspell it)
But I could be wrong. Either way, she is fascinating! I don't have any like that, unfortunately

Nah, from x-many generations of (seemingly straight blacks/silver grullos) she is the first chestnut with flaxen and a sh*tload of mealy xD you may understand why this surprised me more than a bit ^^' hah, a pity - well the search must go on then, at least she is fairly young still so there is time :)

I never, ever would have guess that, but now that you say it I can see it. Crazy!
She is very beautiful.

I can't wait til we have genetic testing in the game - get rid of some of this guess work! :?:
