Re: What horses should I breed
You can look at other breeding projects that other players are doing to help you get an idea . I'm working on breeding Thoroughbreds and Thoroughbred crosses, Arabians, a few Friesians, and white grade horses with fluffy white mane. You can also look at the breeds Wiki, found in the help tab of your menu, to look at the different breeds of horses that are around. It's up to you to decide on how many horse breeds you want to work on breeding. Some players only do one or two breeds at a time, some (like me) do a bunch at a time, though it's very difficult to keep all of the breeds up at once.Animalsrule wrote:Hi HWO I am new and wanted to know what is the best horse to breed what people will buy at the right price
Thanks
If anybody has any horses that they want to sell me feel free to
I am going to post this on horses for sale as well
As for what people will buy, it depends on the age of the horse, the breeders report, the genetic potential, the rareness of the breed, the training, if the horse has earned any titles or world records, sometimes the COI, the horse's pedigree, the color, and the conformation (you can only see the conformation of a horse by getting the premium upgrade which is 500 pony tokens for a month). Some players will buy a horse for $50,000 or more if the horse has a bunch of gold and green stats in the breeders report, high conformation, a high genetic potential (most look for 62,000 or more), is a champion, fully trained, has a good pedigree (sometime players look for a long pedigree with some champions and other good horses in the pedigree), and is an attractive color.
Here's an example of horses and ABOUT what their price would be (I might even be a bit off and some of these horses are not for sale):
Aerial Dragon
Price: possibly about $30,000 to about $40,000. (This horse is for sale but isn't a horse that I've owned/bred)
Reasons: Friesians aren't too common to be sold with a fairly good breeders report. The horse has a higher genetic potential of 67,146. In the horse's pedigree, there are some Champions, about 2 Grand Champions, a Master Grand Champion (I didn't look all that far since the pedigree is very long). And has a fairly good conformation.
Daedalus de Whyle -- 62* 34 30 62* -- 1:59.77
Price: at least $500,000. Possibly even more (this horse isn't for sale and isn't a horse that I've owned/bred)
Reasons: He has the tiger eye gene. He has a world record in racing. He has a fairly high genetic potential of 63,360. He has a nice breeders report and has a bunch of foals. His pedigree is very long and has a bunch of horses with titles and a few that also have world records. He is also fully trained.
Amirhan
Price: $1 to $1,500 about. (This horse is for sale but isn't a horse that I've owned/bred)
Reasons: He doesn't have a long pedigree and there aren't any good horses in his pedigree. He doesn't have a great breeders report and an okay conformation. He has a low genetic potential of 33,395. But he does have 0% for the COI. He is a little bit trained. He has no world records and/or titles.
