One day sales seems good to me -- and how about limited-time Stallions at Stud ads, too.

Yes. It would be nice if sales ads could expire if the stallion was out of energy for a certain period of time.

There's a lot of information on the Stallions selection screen. The newest choice, and it's at the end of a longish list, is a checkbox with "Only Find Studs with Energy". It works; I have used it.

The idea with the owner being able to limit the time the stallion is up for public breeding is related, but not quite the same.

Although ***COUGH COUGH HI THERE ADMIN*** having mare approval is more important to me.

If mare approval isn't in the near future, a time limit would give some restriction. I can't always stay online or revisit as often as I'd wish, and hanging around in the Chat Room doesn't seem to work well for me either. So ... sooner or later I always get back to the old "if wishes were horses ..."

thanks so much! I did not see that button. I have been off game all fall and missed that new update. Yay! and I agree about stallion approval. that would be amazing!
