Skjult Dal Stabil (Hidden Valley Stable)

                                                                                                                Velkommen til Skjult Dal Stabil
                                                                                                               Welcome to Hidden Valley Stable

Hello, I go by Gaagii (means Raven) or Craven (a joke name) on the game. With my cousin I own three horses, a grey dun/grullo Fjord Stallion (Thunder) and a chestnut mare (Ghost) of unknown breed.

Breeds Worked On

Stock/Old West Quarter Horses

There are three types of Quarter Horses. The racing type (predominantly TB ancestry), the halter type (more TB ancestry than not), and then the old-west stock type (least amount of TB ancestry). The old west stock type is the traditional Quarter Horse.

It is modern myth, based off halter & racing types, that the Quarter Horse descends predominantly from Thoroughbreds. The original Quarter Horse descends from an English & Continental colonial mixed horse once called the Quarter Mile Horse so dubbed for its considerable sprinting speed at a quarter-mile.

Some of the other breeds that went into the original history may have included Indian ponies, mustangs & semi-feral/feral former farm horses, and exact breeds such as Morgans. The original stock Quarter Horse is a compact almost draft-like stocky animal with a broad chest.

"Plume" Coloration

The plume coloration seems to be associated with the Gulastra's Plume of real-life horses. Or a coloration that is sometimes attributed to 'wild bays'.

In the game, it adds a silvered coloration to mane, tail & fetlocks including with or without feathers.

Developer Note: This is a Work-In-Progress preview
We are currently working on this page but have allowed you to preview the work in progress. From this page you can view ALL of the horses on this farm, and search through them more easily. More information will be added to this page and the layout will be cleaned up over the next several days. If you have any suggestions please post in the forum.
