Greener Hills Breeding Farm

A newly established farm. Will focus on breeding, mainly, but will be training some horses that are deemed fit enough.

Welcome to Greener Hills Farm!

Brand:

Current project: Italian Heavy Drafts

Explanation: I wanted a challenge and ended up choosing a breed that hardly has any active horses, but wouldn't be impossible to breed up for a beginner. Belgian horses are readily available and that will be my starting point.

Progress: As of now (4/19/17), we have 3 breeding pairs of IHDs! Production of this breed starts now!

This farm will be mostly focused on breeding. That doesn't mean it won't train at all, that's just not our focus. We hope to breed up strong, dependable horses with varying colors that everyone will like. The stats on these horses will be the best that we can provide at the moment in time.

Our hope with our lines is to not flood the market too much with our stock, and as such, we will provide studs and sell foals; however at a limit. This limit will be determined depending on our stock at that moment in time.

This farm is now a premium farm until May 6th. We will be working a bit faster than usual. Still, we are setting up stock, so please be patient with us as we work ^^

All horses that are born and live here otherwise are very well cared for and will be sold happy and healthy with their new owners!

Thank you for reading this, and have a great day!

*These rules will be applied as our stock of Italian Heavy Drafts come in a steady flow.

Notes to myself:
  • Breed for Belgian x Breton again when Wounded dies.
  • Breed Belgian x Breton to Bo x Perch.
  • Get male and female of each.
  • Keep grass around 30%.
  • [To up stats] Find a mix or grade horse that matches the breed at least 4/5 and cross breed [with IHD]. After you have at least 2 of each gender, breed each generation back to the parents.

Developer Note: This is a Work-In-Progress preview
We are currently working on this page but have allowed you to preview the work in progress. From this page you can view ALL of the horses on this farm, and search through them more easily. More information will be added to this page and the layout will be cleaned up over the next several days. If you have any suggestions please post in the forum.
